Email updates are sent out monthly to all Minnesota State Mankato faculty by the College of Graduate Studies and Research. The current month's update is below. Past updates are available by clicking on the links in the left navigation.
The purpose of Summer Research Dissemination Grants (SRDG) at Minnesota State Mankato is to support the dissemination of faculty research, scholarship, and creative accomplishments by providing funding for faculty whose completed research studies or projects demonstrate a high probability of publication, exhibition, or performance. Summer Research Dissemination Grants are awarded on a University–wide, competitive basis. Each grant will be awarded to a single recipient, who will be paid a taxable stipend of $5,000 in bi–weekly installments corresponding to the summer pay schedule during the period of the project. The deadline for summer 2008 applications is 4:30 p.m. on Friday, February 1, 2008.
Eligibility requirements and proposal guidelines are available at http://grad.mnsu.edu/research/frg/docs/summergrants.pdf
The fourth edition of TOMORROW magazine will be published in March 2008, with the goal of showcasing faculty scholarly and creative achievements for the 2007 calendar year. Along with feature stories, we will once again list our faculty’s published scholarship and significant creative activities.
For the list of publications, we seek published works with a 2007 publication date or copyright. Due to space limitations, we can list only journal articles, book chapters, books, and published conference proceedings. For creative efforts we are interested in regional, national, and international performances, exhibitions or other related/relevant efforts.
Please submit your publications and/or creative accomplishments directly to the College of Graduate Studies and Research between now and Friday, December 7, 2007. We strongly prefer electronic submissions, which should be emailed to cesr@mnsu.edu. We will distribute a draft to each college in early January and hope to have the final verified list by February 1, 2008.
