The Center for Excellence in Scholarship and Research (CESR) is a newly funded initiative designed to support faculty research, scholarship and creative activities. CESR, located in the Wigley Administration Center in the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (WA 325), officially opened in Spring 2007.

The CESR Mission:

  • Develop and nurture communities of scholars
  • Promote and support faculty scholarship and publication
  • Provide faculty with assistance in research design and data analysis
  • Develop and promote forums for faculty and students to showcase scholarly work
  • Provide recognition for the scholarly accomplishments of faculty and students
