Book Authors
The purpose of this section of the CESR website is to present information and cover issues exclusively related to textbook and academic book authoring. Our first CESR meeting, with current and potential book authors occurred on Wednesday, September 10, 2008. 37 faculty either attended the meeting or expressed an interest in textbook and academic book authoring. Andy Johnson, from the Department of Special Education, gave a brief presentation that provided an overview of the beginning processes used to put together a book. Andy's presentation is available in this section of the CESR website. Look in the folder titled, [PDF] Getting Your Book Published (1.01 MiB) by Dr. Andrew Johnson. Dr. Johnson also has a book prospectus outline and 5 examples of book prospectuses. Look in the folder titled, [PDF] Book Prospectus (82 KiB).
