Summer Research Grants

The purpose of Summer Research Grants (SRG) at Minnesota State Mankato is to support the dissemination of faculty research, scholarship, and creative accomplishments by providing funding for summer projects that demonstrate a high probability of publication, exhibition, or performance. These grants, which are funded by the College of Graduate Studies and Research upon the recommendation of the Faculty Research Committee, support the dissemination of faculty research in all disciplines, including basic, applied, and pedagogical research and creative projects. Summer Research Grants will be awarded on a University-wide, competitive basis. Each recipient will be awarded a taxable stipend of $5,000, payable in bi-weekly installments corresponding to the summer pay schedule during the period of the project. Applicants are encouraged to contact the appropriate College representative for guidance on proposal development (see list, below).
