When is the Graduate Research Conference (GRC)?
The second annual Graduate Research Conference is scheduled on April 12 – 13, 2010.
Who presents at the GRC?
All graduate students currently enrolled at Minnesota State University, Mankato are eligible to present at the conference.
When is the deadline to submit applications to the conference?
The application deadline is March 5, 2010.
Are grants available for conference participants?
The GRC Committee does not award grants to participants. However, the College of Graduate Studies and Research provides support for thesis related expenses. Please visit: http://grad.mnsu.edu/student/thesisfunding.html for more information.
What are the different presentation formats at the GRC?
Oral presentations, poster presentations, and performance sessions.
Oral presentations are usually 15 minutes each, while poster and performance sessions are an hour long.
Who will judge presentations at the conference?
Faculty members judge presentations in the conference.

Yes, even if you are not presenting at the conference, you are most welcome to attend.

What are the requirements to submit to the conference journal?
The work that you submit must be approved by your advisor/ mentor.
Is there a word limit requirement for each paper submitted to the journal?
No, there is no word limit for papers submitted to the journal.
Is the journal available in electronic or paper format?
The journal is only available in electronic format.
