Proposal Development Fund

Faculty and Student

The Proposal Development Fund (funded through indirect cost recovery allocation) has been established to allow scholars—project directors, department chairs, college deans, and divisional leaders—to request funds to support their proposal development, grant application, and research efforts. Proposal Development Funds may be used to cover costs associated with the following:

  • Training for novice or first–time grant writers
  • Student assistance during proposal development
  • Preliminary data acquisition and collection
  • Peer review and research mentoring initiatives
  • Travel to meet with program officers
  • Travel to meet with institutions or organizations with which the principal investigator (PI) must subcontract
  • Travel to meet with collaborators or co–principal investigators

For more information about the Proposal Development Fund, contact Kristel Lynch, Interim Director of Research and Sponsored Programs (RASP), at 389-6605 or kristel.lynch@mnsu.edu.
