The purpose of the Grants Administration Apprentice Program is to provide graduate students with an opportunity to learn the basics of Sponsored Programs Administration. Graduate students serving as apprentices to the Director of Research and Sponsored Programs will assist faculty with identifying appropriate funding opportunities and assist faculty and staff with the proposal development process. Starting in October 2007, the GAs will be available to assist faculty with finding funding, preparing their proposals (including their budgets), filling out the Internal Approval Form, and obtaining signatures.
