We want to help faculty further their research by improving grant writing skills and giving faculty access to resources. 

Our office offers RASP workshops on Faculty Research Grants and Grant Writing & Budget Development. We also post writing guides made public by other universities or services. 

FRG Workshop 

Workshop for Spring of Academic Year 2018-2019: Wednesday, February 6, 2019 from 10am-11am in CSU 204 (Deadline for Spring FRG Grant is Tuesday, March 12, 2019 - 4:30 pm)

Applying for the Faculty Research Grant this Spring? At this workshop, we will be reviewing the [PDF] NEWLY REVISED FRG (238 KiB) guidelines and walking through the application. The purpose of a Faculty Research Grant (FRG) at Minnesota State Mankato is to encourage excellence in research, scholarship, and creative activities among Minnesota State Mankato faculty by providing seed funding for faculty projects.These seed grants support faculty initiatives in all disciplines including basic, applied, and pedagogical research and creative projects.
