Cross-Disciplinary Studies, Master of Science (M.S.)
The Cross-Disciplinary Studies MS is a unique degree providing students with a flexibility in creating the direction for their program.
Program Highlights
- The degree requires students to complete two 18-credit graduate certificates in different disciplines plus a one-credit capstone in either discipline for a 37-credit master's degree.
- The composition of a student's capstone committee is determined by the policy and procedures of the discipline in which the capstone is taken.
Application Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Personal Statement - the degree requires students to complete two 18-credit graduate certificates in different disciplines. In 1-2 pages please indicate your preferred graduate certificates of study, as well as a statement about what you hope to accomplish by combining the two graduate certificate programs. Depending on graduate certificates chosen, additional application materials may be required.

Additional Requirements for International Applicants:
The program is often offered exclusively online and is not typically eligible for I-20 issuance.
- TOEFL iBT score of 61 or better, or IELTS score of 6.0 or better
- Credential Evaluation prepared by a National Association of Credentials Evaluation Service member
