Advanced Professional Nurse graduates are prepared for a variety of advanced professional nursing roles and will possess skills for inclusive and equitable advanced nursing practice in diverse settings.
Public Health: Dietetics
The Public Health: Dietetics MPH is for students currently enrolled in the Professional Program in Dietetics (MS) only. This program focuses on advanced learning in education and health promotion related to food and nutrition.

Social Work
The Master of Social Work is an Advanced Generalist Program that prepares students for both advanced direct and indirect practice opportunities in a wide variety of public and private social service, medical, behavior health, and educational settings.
Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology
The Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology program is designed to develop a theoretical base in the discipline of sport and exercise psychology; and better prepare students, coaches, and consultants to apply such knowledge to performance enhancement issues.

Nursing Practice (DNP)
Minnesota State University, Mankato offers a graduate program for students interested in becoming a doctorally prepared family nurse practitioner and also offers a post-graduate program for advanced practice registered nurses interested in obtaining a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree.

Family Consumer Science
The Family Consumer Science certificate program provides the professional who already has a teaching degree or who is working on a graduate teaching degree with the necessary courses to meet the MN standards for teacher licensure in Family Consumer Science Education for grades 5-12.
